As everyone knows Easter is the most important time of the year for Catholics. It is the time of year when we really experience the great sacrifice that Jesus made for us.

It is important for all of us to prepare for Lent and we can do that in many ways – giving up our favourite food can remind us of Christ’s sacrifice for us, giving money to the poor can remind us how much Jesus loved those in need, being extra kind to those we love reminds us that Gods love is endless or helping those in need reminds us of what Jesus asks all of us to do.

Last year we had a wonderful time at our Lenten Group and we hope that everyone will be back this year again. New people are always welcome!

This Lenten Season Ephpheta has two major programs for everyone to be involved in
1.   The Lenten Group that is held in peoples homes each Friday or Saturday of Lent
2.   The Healing House Working Bee
