Martha's Cookbook
As a fundraising incentive, we put together a cookbook with the theme of “Recipes from the Deaf Community’s Kitchen” and asked our Deaf Community members to provide recipes to be included. We got so many recipes, some were famous in our Community like Mary’s cakes and others had to be excluded with regret.
When coming up with the name of the cookbook, St. Martha was remembered as the patron saint of cooks so “Martha’s Cookbook” seemed a natural choice. Inside the cover is an explanation about the name and the patron saint.
Martha’s Cookbooks are selling for $10 each. If you would like to own a copy of Martha’s Cookbook, simply email danni@ephpheta.org.au to arrange purchase and delivery of your copy (or copies!).
Wouldn’t a Martha’s Cookbook make a fantastic present?! |
