Wine and Cheese Night - 27th September
International Day of Sign Languages is celebrated every year around the world on 23 September along with International Week of the Deaf. 23 September is the same date that the World Federation of the Deaf was established in 1951.
This year’s theme is “Sign Language Rights for All!”
Ephpheta has decided to host a wine and cheese night on Friday 27th of September (not 23 September) to celebrate this special day. Todd Wright, President of Deaf Australia will start the night. We will have well known Auslan presenters to talk about Deaf stories in Auslan. Keep an eye on Facebook for more announcements. It will be a fun night!
