Ephpheta Centre Deaf Community Retreat
We are so pleased to announce that we will holding a retreat for the Deaf Community this year.
A retreat is a lovely way for us to learn more about our faith and deepen our relationships with God and each other.
When: Saturday 19 August and Sunday 20 August 2023. Arrive around 9am on Saturday. Leave after lunch on Sunday.
Where: Benedict XVI Retreat Centre at Grose Vale (near Richmond). This is a beautiful peaceful centre not far from Richmond and Kurrajong
Who is this for? Any member of our deaf community who would like to learn more about their faith and God. Everyone is welcome.
What will we do on retreat: Listen to interpreted presentations, be involved in discussions, chat with each other. We will have Mass on site each day. Auslan interpreters provided. Our retreat will be led by a special guest speaker Sr Anastasia Reeves OP.
Cost: Own Room (1 person per room) $150 each person Shared Room (2 people per room) $75 per person
Price includes one night’s accommodation, all meals from morning tea on Saturday to lunch on Sunday.
Morning teas, afternoon tea and supper included.
Linen and towels provided. Day only (not staying the night) - does not include dinner - $40 per person per day Ephpheta is supporting the costs of the retreat.
